Yea Joins the Board of Greene King
Leading pub company and brewer Greene King named Philip Yea to the board of directors with the ultimate aim to turn over the role of chairman to him in May. Yea was recently chairman of bwin.party digital entertainment plc and has held senior directorships at Vodafone Group and Computacenter. He has also been in senior executive positions at 3i Group, Diageo, and Guinness.
The TJX Companies Elects Herrman CEO
Off-price apparel and home fashions retailer TJX Companies elected president and director Ernie Herrman to the additional role of CEO. Herrman has been president since 2011, SEVP and group president from 2008 to 2011, SEVP from 2007 to 2008, and president, Marmaxx from 2005 to 2008. He held additional leadership and merchandizing positions with Marmaxx and TJX since 1989.
McKay to Take On New Deputy Group Chief Executive Role at BP
The world’s #3 oil and gas producer, BP PLC, created a new senior executive position and filled the slot with Lamar McKay. A member of the BP executive team since 2008, he had held the CEO spot at the upstream business segment of BP since 2013. McKay started his career in oil at Amoco in 1980 and worked on the merger with BP between 1998 and 2000. He has held leadership roles in such far-flung regions as Kazakhstan, the North Sea, and Russia. McKay was chairman and president at BP America as well.
