McMullen Gets a Three-Dimensional Deal
Three-D printing company 3D Systems has hired a new CFO, who started on July 1st. John McMullen comes to the role from Eastman Kodak, where he was that company’s CFO. McMullen worked with 3D Systems CEO Vyomesh Joshi at Hewlett-Packard prior to his stint at Eastman Kodak. His new employment contract has an initial two-year term that includes some significant incentives. The stimulus kicks in when the value of company stock rises to $30 and $40 or more per share for greater than 90 consecutive days.
Microsoft COO Turner Becomes the Leader of the Pack
Investment firm Citadel Securities is welcoming Microsoft COO Kevin Turner to its ranks as its new CEO. Turner has been with Microsoft since 2005. Previously, he spent 22 years at Walmart, rising from cashier to president and CEO of Sam’s Club. Microsoft insiders reported that Turner has been looking for a CEO position since Microsoft promoted Satya Nadella to CEO two years ago.
Roth Moves from Chase to DISH
Entertainment services provider DISH Network has named Jay Roth as its new SVP and chief marketing officer. Roth is coming from JPMorgan Chase, where he served in senior marketing and acquisition positions. Prior to Chase, Roth worked in senior marketing jobs at Bank One for numerous loan divisions. In his new position, Roth will oversee marketing, advertising, and consumer insights. He reports to Warren Schlichting, DISH’s EVP marketing, programming, and media sales.
