Full stream ahead!
In an update last week, D&B Editor Adam Anderson discussed movie subscription service Netflix‘s record-high revenues and the reasons behind them. The company reported 2013 revenue of $4.4 billion, powered by growth in its streaming services (as opposed to the declining DVD rental service). Domestic streaming grew 28% that year, but the real story was in international streaming, which jumped 148%. International is the company’s growth engine and Netflix has extensive expansion plans for 2015. Follow Adam on Twitter.
