Christopher Baldwin Now President and COO at BJ’s Wholesale Club
BJ’s Wholesale Club, ranked the third-largest membership warehouse club behind Costco and Sam’s Club, named Christopher Baldwin as the new president and COO. A thirty-year veteran of the retail and consumer products industries, Baldwin was recently CEO at Hess Retail. Prior to Hess, he had worked in leadership roles at Kraft Foods, Hersey, and Procter and Gamble. Baldwin’s experience will lend itself well to the responsibilities for club operations, logistics, marketing, membership, and merchandising.
Marc Willency New CEO at Integra
Marc Willency will start next week as the CEO at Integra Telecom, a fiber-based networking, communications, and technology telecommunications carrier. Willency brings more than 17 years of telecommunications leadership experience to the new job. He has worked at Level 3 Communications, Time Warner Telecom, and tw telecom in customer service, operations, and sales.
Fresh Face at Fresh Market
Specialty grocery retailer The Fresh Market named Rick Anicetti as the new president and CEO. Thirty-year veteran of the retail industry, Anicetti served as president and CEO of Delhaize subsidiary Food Lion from 2002 through 2010 and had held numerous retail functions during his six years at Hannaford Brothers. A director at Number Holdings, he had served as interim CEO of its subsidiary 99 Cents Only Stores.
