Doctors Associates — known popularly as sandwich chain Subway — is losing its chief marketing officer, Tony Pace, in September. Pace, who joined Subway in 2006, is stepping down to start a marketing consultancy firm. The news of his departure came just two weeks after Subway suspended its relationship with longtime pitchman Jared Fogle. The FBI searched Fogle’s home in connection to an investigation of his foundation’s executive director, who is facing federal child pornography charges. Pace says his departure is unrelated to the investigation.
