Fitness Center Chains Check into Luxury Hotels

A growing number of popular fitness chains are opening upscale workout facilities at luxury hotels. These on-site studios, operating in spaces leased from hotel owners, offer a variety of exercise classes and programs that appeal primarily to women and younger travelers, as well as local residents who are not hotel guests, The Wall Street Journal reports. Partnerships with fast-growing fitness companies like Exhale and SoulCycle allow hotels to increase business and offer better amenities without having to hire their own instructors or manage fitness center operations.
